Refund & Cancellation Policy – Preschool Olympiad
Effective Date: 5 December 2025
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all registrations and payments made on school.preschoololympiad.com, operated by Bharat Shishu Vidya Initiatives Private Limited, for participation in the Preschool Olympiad (PSO).
By proceeding with any payment, schools and parents acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Section 1: General Refund Policy
  • All Preschool Olympiad registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will be issued only in the event that the Preschool Olympiad cancels a scheduled examination round.
  • No refunds will be provided for any other reason.
Section 2: Non-Refundable Scenarios
Without limitation, refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
  • Incorrect or invalid PSO Roll Number entered during registration
  • Registration for a subject in which the student has not qualified
  • Incorrect subject selection
  • Absence of the student on the examination day
  • Change of mind after payment
  • Inability to attend due to personal, medical, travel, or scheduling reasons
  • Failure to meet eligibility or qualification criteria
  • Technical errors caused by incorrect data entry by the user
Section 3: Round-Specific Nature of Fees
All payments are strictly round-specific (School / Interschool / State / National).
  • Payment for one round does not carry forward to another round
  • Non-participation or non-qualification in a round does not entitle the participant to any refund or adjustment
Section 4: Administrative Correction Fees
In limited cases, PSO may permit corrections to student details (such as name, grade, or date of birth) upon payment of an administrative correction fee.
  • Correction approval is at PSO's sole discretion
  • Correction fees are non-refundable under all circumstances
  • Corrections are not permitted once evaluation or report generation has commenced
Section 5: Event Cancellation by PSO
In the rare event that PSO cancels an examination round:
  • A refund of the registration fee for that specific round will be initiated
  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment
  • Processing timelines may vary based on the payment gateway and banking systems
  • No additional compensation (travel, accommodation, preparation costs, etc.) shall be payable.
Section 6: No Partial Refunds
Partial refunds, fee adjustments, credits, or transfers between rounds, subjects, or students are not permitted under any circumstances.
Section 7: Discretion & Finality
  • All refund-related decisions made by PSO shall be final and binding.
  • Disputes raised after participation deadlines, exam dates, or result declarations will not be entertained.
Section 8: Policy Updates
  • PSO reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect academic, operational, or regulatory changes.
  • The updated policy will be published on this platform with a revised effective date.
