Terms of Use – Preschool Olympiad (School Platform)
Effective Date: 5 December 2025
Welcome to school.preschoololympiad.com, the official school-facing registration and payment platform for the Preschool Olympiad (PSO).
This platform is operated by Bharat Shishu Vidya Initiatives Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, and is designed to support structured, NEP 2020–aligned foundational assessments for children from Nursery to Grade 2.
By accessing or using this platform, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with registration or payment.
1. Purpose of This Platform
This subdomain is intended exclusively for schools and authorised school representatives, and for parents acting through their schools, to:
  • Register students for Preschool Olympiad rounds
  • Make round-wise participation payments
  • Facilitate assessment logistics, evaluation, and reporting
All Preschool Olympiad examinations are conducted offline at school premises or designated venues.
2. Olympiad Structure & Participation
The Preschool Olympiad is conducted in multiple stages:
  • School Level
  • Interschool Level
  • State Level
  • National Level
Each level:
  • Requires separate qualification
  • Requires separate registration and payment
  • Is governed by its own round-specific terms
Payment for one round does not automatically include or guarantee participation in subsequent rounds.
Participation in higher rounds is strictly subject to qualification criteria determined by the Preschool Olympiad. Qualification decisions are final and binding.
3. Registration Authority
All registrations on this platform are completed:
  • By schools, or
  • By parents under the guidance and authorisation of their child's school
The Preschool Olympiad does not entertain individual parent requests bypassing the school at the School Level.
4. Unique Identifier (PSO Roll Number)
Each student is assigned a PSO Roll Number, which serves as the sole unique identifier across all Olympiad levels.
  • The roll number must be entered accurately wherever required
  • Incorrect or invalid roll numbers may lead to rejection of registration
  • No corrections or refunds will be provided for errors in roll number entry
  • The PSO Roll Number will continue to be used for Interschool, State, and National rounds.
  • Subject-wise eligibility is determined based on School / previous round performance, and registrations for non-qualified subjects will not be honoured.
5. Payments & Non-Refundability
  • All fees collected on this platform are round-specific
  • Payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay)
  • The Preschool Olympiad does not store payment instrument details
  • All registrations are non-refundable, except in cases where PSO cancels a scheduled examination round.
Detailed conditions are outlined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
6. Learning Management System (LMS) & Academic Records
To conduct structured evaluation and provide meaningful learning insights:
  • Student details are used to create a secure internal academic record within PSO's Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Physical answer sheets may be digitised for evaluation
  • Performance analytics are generated at student, grade, school, and cohort levels
The LMS is used solely for educational and assessment purposes, including:
  • Evaluation and moderation
  • Student performance reports
  • Identification of learning gaps
  • End-of-year academic insights
No student data is used for advertising, behavioural profiling, or commercial resale.
Performance reports and analytics are intended solely for educational insight and diagnostic purposes and do not constitute academic certification or promotion criteria.
7. Data Accuracy & Corrections
Schools and parents are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate.
In limited cases, and at PSO's discretion, corrections to student name, grade, or date of birth may be permitted upon payment of an administrative correction fee, subject to:
  • Defined timelines
  • Operational feasibility
  • Stage of evaluation or reporting
Corrections are not guaranteed and are not available once evaluation or report generation has commenced.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, assessment frameworks, designs, reports, and logos related to the Preschool Olympiad are the intellectual property of Bharat Shishu Vidya Initiatives Private Limited.
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
9. External Services & Links
This platform may integrate or redirect users to third-party services (including payment gateways).
PSO is not responsible for:
  • Downtime or failures of third-party platforms
  • Data handling beyond what is operationally required
Users are advised to review third-party terms and policies independently.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PSO shall not be liable for:
  • Errors arising from incorrect information submitted by users
  • Missed participation due to eligibility or registration issues
  • Technical disruptions beyond PSO's reasonable control
11. Modifications to Terms
PSO reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time to reflect academic, operational, or regulatory changes.
Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
